Many people ask how to build the different Level 3 courses offered by the Family Matters Institute into a full Award or Certificate.  Each course covers one or more Unit from the Work with Parents. Each course has a Credit value that when combined adds up to required amount for an Award or Certificate.  Courses can be accredited individually and built together over time or taken all in one go.  The diagram below shows how this works. 

Unit 300, which we call Families Going Forward is the only mandatory unit, beyond that learners can choose which Units to complete in order to build their qualification.

Level 4 is simpler in that City & Guilds only require completion a single Unit covered by our Supporting Families with Multiple and Complex Needs course.
