Children's Centre Outreach Training

We have been commissioned by the Children's Workforce Development Council to deliver training for practitioners engaged in outreach from children's centres. The training is designed to build on and develop the skills and capacity of outreach practitioners to provide an effective outreach service which meets the needs of diverse families and communities.

We shall be delivering the "Families Going Forward" training course in six local authority areas. The training is free to qualifying participants.

The course has been developed specifically for outreach practitioners by CWDC in partnership with the National Academy for Parenting Practitioners. It is based on unit 300 of the Work with Parents qualification. Practitioners could undertake further units (not funded) to gain a full Level 3 qualification.
