This course is accredited to level 3 by the Open College Network (OCN), and provides generic training in facilitation skills for use with any family money activity materials.

Want to Run a Money Activity Session?

It consists of two separate days of training, including tutorial time. Students build a portfolio of evidence and facilitate a money session.

The training aims to give you the skills to be able to

• improve basic facilitator and presentation skills
• plan and publicise a Family Financial Education Session for a specific target group
• understand the importance of teaching and learning
• explore different ways to deliver family financial education
• be aware of the possibilities of working with other agencies
• prepare and run a family finance education session for groups
• focus on the need for effective evaluation

One thing is for sure: attending this course will increase your enthusiasm and build your confidence.

Availability

If you can gather six or more student facilitators together, a course tutor can bring the training to your venue. Individuals or small groups can attend training days that we run at Moggerhanger.
