Family Matters Institute
These activities span faith, voluntary, community, statutory and corporate sectors, and operate at local, regional and national levels. The foundation of the FMI's work is a focus on the family, areas of greatest need and pain often stemming from family breakdown. Research continues to consider what is happening to the family in today's culture, its affect on children and young people and from a Christian perspective what can be done to support, improve and sustain healthy families. Projects have developed within parenting, fatherhood, mental health, family finances, workforce development and marriage & couple relationships. Research undergirds project development, combing Christian based insight into the work with empirical evidence. FMI has gained an excellent reputation for its training, services and research work; which we hope this site will provide you some insight into. As always with websites by the time they are published they are out or date, so please do contact us if you can't find what you are looking for here but are sure you heard our name mentioned in association with your particular area of interest. Thank you for visiting us we look forward to connecting with you in some way!
